WIM SNIJDER 17 May 1953 I can combine my work as owner-director of AfvalSpiegel very well with photography, my old hobby from earlier days. I was and still am an enthusiastic street photographer, and I enjoy making documentary projects on a wide range of subjects, as well as travel reports. In recent years I have developed a strong interest in portrait and landscape photography, and I am feeling increasingly at home in these genres. I started photographing back when everything was still exclusively analogue, developing and printing my work myself. I still own my twin-lens Rolleiflex and regularly go out shooting with it. In addition, I photograph with an Olympus OMD, which is pleasantly lightweight and ideal for travelling. I am a member of FotoUnie in Tilburg and regularly participate in their workshops and projects. Photography is not my profession, but from time to time I take on small-scale paid assignments.
