I am
STEFAN LADANG 1980 From Digital Structure to Artistic Freedom The seed of my photography was planted in the early 1990s, when I received both a camera and a computer. While the computer became the foundation of my career in IT, the camera became my gateway to another world. Photography as a Safe Haven In my daily work at the IT Service Desk, everything revolves around logic and solutions. Photography is the essential counterbalance to that: a safe haven for experimentation and emotion. I am not looking to document reality, but to create my own universe. Inspiration & Deepening In 2013, my vision shifted through the work of an internationally renowned artist who set a new standard within Fine Art photography. Her distinctive narrative style led to personal growth during retreats in Norfolk (UK) and Flayosc (France). The many years of connection with the Promoting Passion community she founded in the USA still form an important foundation for my artistic development. Later, the style of Ki Tan taught me how to manipulate reality using textures and elements such as flour and smoke; for me, this became a safe harbor of creativity. A New Perspective My work is an interplay of textures that invite the viewer to look beyond the surface. After a period of serious illness, my view of the future has changed. I am searching for a new balance in which I can truly touch and feel photography again, and freely explore where that path may lead.
