I am
MARINA KRAMER 18 August 1969 About 15 years ago, I started photography. I took a basic photography course and then joined a photography club in Nieuwe Niedorp. There, I learned a lot from the other club members and by closely studying the work of other photography clubs that came to visit us. I soon noticed that I wanted to learn more, and that wasnt really possible at the photo club, as it consisted almost entirely of nature photographers. I started looking more closely at other photographers on Facebook and asking questions about how they had learned certain techniques. Thats when I came across a photo by Joanne de Graaf with the theme of artistic street photography. I thought it was amazing and knew I wanted to learn that, so I contacted Joanne, who then referred me to Ki Tan. This was in 2021. I made an appointment with Ki, and we went out shooting together. Taking the photos went fairly well, but editing them was a whole different story. After an afternoon of sweating, starting over again and again, and thanks to Kis endless patience, I still came home with beautiful resultsand it left me wanting more. Since then, I have taken various courses and workshops. During the A to M course, halfway through the program, my husband Eric Karsten joined me, and Spiek and Ki immediately saw a model in him. From that moment on, we have always come together and get a lot of energy and enjoyment from it. It feels like coming home. My preference in photography is definitely street photography, but I also really enjoy working in the studio with all those wonderful models. Facebook name: Marina-18
