MARIE-CLAIRE VAN VUGT 01.07.1967 To date, I have not completed a formal photography education, but I have attended workshops at CCC Fotounie. My daily profession is machine embroidery, which also requires creativity—just like photography. My favorite subjects to photograph are animals, or objects featuring light bulbs and glass spheres. These subjects allow me to express my creativity and create beautiful memories. I came into contact with Ki through a cousin of mine. She wanted a powder photo of herself and got in touch with Ki, who made it possible for us to create powder photos of her in the studio. The workshops that Ki offers are always very educational, but also a lot of fun. The atmosphere is always great, which is why everyone keeps coming back. There are still quite a number of workshops that I would like to follow with him. For example, I would love to take the A to M course, the double exposure workshop, a fan shoot, black or black low-key photography, and the high-key photography workshop inspired by the works of Sarah Moon. I really enjoy photographing in a group, but I also like going out on photo trips with, among others, my photographer friend Peter.
