I am
LOLITA CAMRON 13.07.1974 Photography has been a common thread throughout my life from an early age. In 2012, I started my first basic photography course; from that moment, my development gained momentum. I completed professional photography training in 2014 and 2021, and in 2023 I graduated in Photographic Design. Since then, I have continued with workshops and a year-long program, because I like to keep challenging myself and developing further. My favorite forms of photography are high key, illusionism, and other creative styles in which I can freely play with ideas, light, and atmosphere. I also enjoy the tension between color and monochrome within a single image, where creativity and expression come together. I work full-time as a teacher and mainly photograph during weekends. Once a month, I am active in a photography club, where I share my work and draw inspiration from fellow photographers. In my work, I create images that come from emotion or from ideas that have been in my mind for a long time. My photographs often include a message, subtle humor, or something personal. I aim to show more than just a beautiful picture, playing with meaning and with what the viewer thinks they see. What distinguishes my photography is my broad range of interests and my drive to keep experimenting with techniques. Themes that occupy me often grow into small projects. An important phase in my development was the period when I focused on urbex photography; the tension, abandoned places, and beauty in decay shaped the way I observe and capture images. I work both independently and with photography friends, depending on the project, and I shoot with a Canon EOS 6D. Through my photography, I want to show that words are not always necessary to express what you see, feel, find beautiful, or who you are.
