I am
JANNEKE MEYBURG 30.07.1959 Born in Zwartewaal and currently living in Brielle, Janneke Meyburg works as a piping engineer and describes her photography as taking pleasure in creating images. She began photographing at the age of 14 with analog cameras, most notably a Praktika, capturing mainly holiday snapshots. For the past 11 years she has worked with Nikon DSLR cameras and currently uses a Nikon D810. Joining a photo club marked the transition from snapshots to more conscious photography, learning to truly observe. Assignments, feedback, and workshopsespecially in portrait photographyplayed an important role in her development. Her favorite subjects are sunrise and sunset, animals, flowers, and landscapes. Street and concert photography are challenging but very enjoyable. She also values the educational and friendly atmosphere of the workshops at CCC FotoUnie. One of her most memorable experiences took place in May 2021 at the Oudendijkse Molen. Early in the morning, standing on a small jetty in complete silence, she prepared to photograph the mill surrounded by mist. Two other photographers joined her unexpectedly, and instead of tension, a spontaneous collaboration emerged. They took turns effortlessly and shared the joy of a spectacular morning sky. With the help of a drone, breathtaking images were captured above and within the mist. It became an unforgettable and joyful photo morning. The photographers later exchanged social media accounts and discovered they were Ronald Verwijs and Ki Tan. This chance encounter eventually led to a long-awaited flour shoot at the FotoFairan encounter that happily came full circle.
