I am
HANNIE HEERE 02.11.1957 Photography has always held a special place in my life. From a young age, I was fascinated by light, form, and the way a photograph can tell a story without words. When my children left home, a new phase began. With more time and space, my curiosity to explore the world through my lens grew. What started as a hobby developed into a true passion. Im more about images than words and mainly photograph by intuition. To deepen my knowledge, I completed the professional photography program at Da Vinci College in 2015 and 2016. There I learned not only the technical aspects of the craftsuch as lighting, composition, and post-processingbut above all the importance of truly seeing and finding the right moment. In the years that followed, I took part in various workshops to continue developing myself. In 2021, I participated in my first workshop with Ki Tan in Tilburg. The inspiring atmosphere and sharing of knowledge motivated me to join Kis photography club. In addition, I am a member of Natuur Fotografen Dordrecht (NFD) and the Dordtse Amateur Fotografen (DAF), where I find inspiration through joint projects and the exchange of ideas. A highlight of my photographic journey was a photo of a walking baby owl, affectionately referred to by many as a baby owl. The image spread worldwide via social mediaespecially in Japanand showed me how a single photograph can touch and connect people across the globe. My greatest passion lies in nature photography. I love traveling through nature in my camper van, photographing animals, flowers, and landscapes, always searching for that one moment when everything comes together. Motto: Capturing nature while traveling Facebook: hannie.heere
