I am
ARMAND HOLLANDERS 08/09/1950 When I was 16 years old, I started photographing. My first camera was a foldable Coronet camera using roll film. Later, I switched to more professional cameras: the Olympus E-520, E-3 and E-5, and currently I use the new OM System OM-1 Mark II. I completed both theoretical and practical photography training at the CVO (Centre for Adult Education) in Willebroek and Temse. Up to that point, I mainly focused on nature photography and city photography. In 2016, I visited the photography fair at Beekse Bergen for the first time. There, I followed two workshops: artistic nude photography with Ki Tan and Vermeer-inspired photography with Dora van de Loo. That experience sparked my passion even further. I regularly attend unique workshops at ccc.fotounie. I also frequently photograph at cosplay and fantasy festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands. On-location model photography, either alone or together with other photographers, is also part of my work. I am also a member of the photography club De Waai in Mariekerke (Belgium).
