JOHN HERTEL 28.11.1954 Met fotograferen ben ik begonnen rond mijn 18e. Voor mij is het moment vastleggen wat mij boeit. Als opleiding heb ik HBO informatica gedaan en daarnaast heb ik ook veel cursussen gevolgd op het Grafisch Lyceum en heb ik ook nog communicatie gedaan. In mijn functie als communicatie assistent bij een groot bedrijf heb ik vaak projecten moeten fotograferen en daar heb ik veel van geleerd en heb er inmiddels ook veel ervaring in. Nu ik gepensioneerd ben heb ik veel tijd om workshops te volgen en kan ikook vaak op pad om te gaan fotograferen. Het liefst fotografeer ik in de dierentuin en fotografeer ik landschappen. De workshops die ik volg zijn het fotograferen van onderwerpen die ik thuis niet zo makkelijk zou kunnen doen. Via de Fotofair ben ik in aanraking gekomen met CCC FotoUnie. Het is een leuke en enthousiaste fotogroep waar plezier in fotograferen voorop staat en waar ook leuke en interessante workshops georganiseerd worden. Fotograferen met een groep of een vriend vind ik het allerleukst om te doen. Ik fotografeer met een Panasonic Lumix DC-G9II systeemcamera omdat deze uitrusting een stuk lichter in gewicht is dan een spiegelreflexcamera. Mijn verdere uitrusting bestaat uit een aantal lenzen, namelijk; Panasonic MFT 12-35mm F/2.8 Panasonic Lumix G Leica DG 35-100mm F/2.8 Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm F/4.0-5.6 mark II Voor mijn Macro fotografie gebruik ik tussen ringen. JOHN HERTEL 28.11.1954 I started photographing around the age of 18. What fascinates me most is capturing the moment. I completed a higher professional education (HBO) in computer science and, in addition, followed many courses at the Grafisch Lyceum. I also studied communication. In my role as a communications assistant at a large company, I often had to photograph projects. I learned a lot from this and have since gained a great deal of experience. Now that I am retired, I have plenty of time to attend workshops and I can often go out to take photographs. I especially enjoy photographing in zoos and shooting landscapes. The workshops I attend focus on photographing subjects that I would not easily be able to do at home. Through the Fotofair, I came into contact with CCC FotoUnie. It is a fun and enthusiastic photography group where enjoyment of photography comes first and where enjoyable and interesting workshops are also organized.Photographing with a group or with a friend is what I enjoy most of all. I photograph with a Panasonic Lumix DC-G9II system camera because this equipment is considerably lighter than a DSLR camera. My additional equipment consists of several lenses, namely: Panasonic MFT 12-35mm F/2.8, Panasonic Lumix G Leica DG 35-100mm F/2.8 Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm F/4.0-5.6 mark II, MFT 12–35mm F/2.8 For my macro photography, I use extension tubes.
