Mijn levenslied is:
MONIQUE VAN DEN BERG 03-09-1960 Al ongeveer 20 jaar heb ik een camera in de hand, maar echt fotograferen doe ik pas de laatste 4 jaar. Ik heb me toen aangesloten bij een fotoclub (fotoclub Lingewaard) omdat ik ‘echt’ wilde leren fotograferen. Daar veel opgestoken over de beginselen van fotografie en ben uiteindelijk mijn fototoestel ontgroeid. Ik heb een vele betere aangeschaft, toen ik bij CCC fotounie terecht kwam en daar d.m.v. diverse workshops met de gevorderde aspecten van fotografie kennis maakte. Nu ben ik in het bezit van een Sony A7RV, lenzen van Sony, Samyang en Sigma, accessoires van K&F Concept. Hoewel ik portretfotografie eerst doodeng vond, ben ik na de cursus ‘model aansturen’ van CCC Fotounie, helemaal om en vind ik studiowerk fantastisch maar helaas ben ik zelf niet in het bezit daarvan. Daarnaast ben ik veel buiten te vinden om beelden vast te leggen die me ‘pakken’. Dat kan een persoon zijn of iets uit de natuur. Ik vind het leuk om steeds iets nieuws uit te proberen. Het is leuk om samen op pad te gaan, erover te praten, een maatje bij je te hebben, maar uiteindelijk fotografeer je dan toch wat jij graag wilt. Maar altijd samen uit, samen thuis. Thuisgekomen bekijk ik de foto’s en die me werkelijk aanstaan worden bewerkt in Lightroom en Photoshop. Heerlijk als er een echt mooie foto/fotobewerking ontstaat, daar kan ik echt van genieten. MONIQUE VAN DEN BERG 03.09.1960 I have had a camera in my hand for about 20 years, but I only really started photographing in the last 4 years. At that time, I joined a photography club (Fotoclub Lingewaard) because I wanted to truly learn how to photograph. I learned a lot there about the basics of photography and eventually outgrew my camera. I bought a much better one when I joined CCC Fotounie and got to know the advanced aspects of photography through various workshops. I now own a Sony A7RV, lenses from Sony, Samyang, and Sigma, and accessories from K&F Concept. Although I initially found portrait photography terrifying, after taking the 'directing models' course at CCC Fotounie, I completely changed my mind and love studio work now, although unfortunately I don't own the equipment myself. Besides that, I spend a lot of time outdoors capturing images that 'grab' me. That could be a person or something from nature. I enjoy trying something new all the time. It's fun to go out together, talk about it, have a buddy with you, but in the end, you end up photographing what you really want most. But always together till the end. Once at home, I look at the photos, and the ones that truly appeal to me are edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. It's wonderful when a really beautiful photo/photo edit comes together; I can truly enjoy that. My example photographers are: Rineke Dijkstra, Erwin Olaf, Stephan Vanfleteren, Mathijs Frenken.
