Mijn levenslied is:
ANTOINE BONGERS Mijn dagelijks werk is bakker en in het seizoen werk ik als ijsbereider. Ik ben getrouwd en vader van drie kinderen. Als kind vond ik fotograferen al fascinerend, maar dat bleef bij de bekende paddestoelen, vergezichten en familiefoto’s. Door de komst van de digitale fotografie werd deze hobby nieuw leven ingeblazen en begon ik steeds meer te fotograferen. Ik ben een grote muziekliefhebber en begon ook vaker concerten te bezoeken. Tijdens een bevrijdingsfestival nam ik een camera mee en een nieuwe passie was geboren; concertfotografie. Via een platform ben ik accreditaties gaan aanvragen en ik mocht mij bij de huisfotografen van poppodium De Bosuil aansluiten. Hierdoor heb ik heel veel concerten en festivals mogen fotograferen en ik doe dit nog steeds met veel passie en plezier. Uit interesse heb ik een workshop modelfotografie gevolgd en ook dit “virus” kreeg mij te pakken. Naast concertfotografie vind ik modelfotografie heerlijk om mee bezig te zijn en samen tot mooie resultaten te komen. Ik heb de beschikking over een eigen studio en zit in de fotogroep Gotcha, die zich uitsluitend met modelfotografie bezig houdt. Wij werken iedere keer een speciaal thema uit en zoeken hier dan modellen bij. Door het volgen van workshops heb ik mijn kennis kunnen uitbreiden en nieuwe technieken ontdekt. Zo ben ik ook met Ki en CCC FotoUnie in contact gekomen. Door het kijken naar het werk van andere fotografen en het bezoeken van exposities probeer ik mijn visie te verbreden. Hopelijk mag ik nog lang van deze mooie hobby genieten.
ANTOINE BONGERS My daily work is as a baker, and during the season I also work as an ice cream maker. I am married and the father of three children. As a child I was already fascinated by photography, but it was mostly limited to the familiar mushrooms, landscapes, and family photos. With the advent of digital photography, this hobby was given new life and I began photographing more and more. I am a great music lover and started attending concerts more frequently. During a liberation festival I brought a camera with me, and a new passion was born: concert photography. Through a platform I began applying for accreditations, and I was able to join the team of in-house photographers at the De Bosuil music venue. As a result, I have had the opportunity to photograph many concerts and festivals, which I still do with great passion and enjoyment. Out of curiosity, I followed a workshop in model photography, and this “virus” also caught hold of me. Besides concert photography, I greatly enjoy working on model photography and collaborating to achieve beautiful results. I have access to my own studio and am a member of the photography group Gotcha, which focuses exclusively on model photography. Each time, we work out a specific theme and then look for suitable models. By attending workshops, I have been able to expand my knowledge and discover new techniques. This is how I also came into contact with KI and CCC FotoUnie. By viewing the work of other photographers and visiting exhibitions, I try to broaden my vision. Hopefully, I will be able to enjoy this wonderful hobby for many years to come.
