Mijn levenslied is:
WIM SNIJDER 17 mei 1953 Mijn werk als eigenaar-directeur van de AfvalSpiegel kan ik heel goed combineren met fotografie, mijn oude hobby van vroeger. Ik was en ben een enthousiaste straatfotograaf en maak graag documentaires over allerlei onderwerpen en maak ook graag reisrapportages. Sinds een aantal jaren heb ik de smaak te pakken gekregen van portret- en landschapsfotografie. Ik begin me daar steeds meer in thuis te voelen. Ik fotografeerde al toen dat nog uitsluitend analoog mogelijk was en ik ontwikkelde zelf en drukte af. Mijn tweeogige Rolleiflex bezit ik nog steeds en ga er nog regelmatig mee op pad. Daarnaast fotografeer ik met een Olympus-OMD. Die is lekker licht in gewicht en fijn om op reis mee te nemen. Ik ben lid van de FotoUnie in Tilburg en doe regelmatig mee met hun workshops en projecten. Fotografie is niet mijn beroep, maar ik werk zo af en toe kleinschalig aan betaalde opdrachten.
WIM SNIJDER 17 May 1953 I can combine my work as owner-director of AfvalSpiegel very well with photography, my old hobby from earlier days. I was and still am an enthusiastic street photographer, and I enjoy making documentary projects on a wide range of subjects, as well as travel reports. In recent years I have developed a strong interest in portrait and landscape photography, and I am feeling increasingly at home in these genres. I started photographing back when everything was still exclusively analogue, developing and printing my work myself. I still own my twin-lens Rolleiflex and regularly go out shooting with it. In addition, I photograph with an Olympus OMD, which is pleasantly lightweight and ideal for travelling. I am a member of FotoUnie in Tilburg and regularly participate in their workshops and projects. Photography is not my profession, but from time to time I take on small-scale paid assignments.
