Mijn levenslied is:
ANGELIQUE JANSEN-MAIJEN 30-01-1968 Sinds 2020 fotografeer ik. Voor mijn werk ging ik een nieuwe website gemaakt. Daarvoor was het handig om zelf foto’s te maken, zodat niet steeds een fotograaf ingehuurd hoefde worden. Al gauw merkte ik dat er veel meer te fotograferen viel en dat ik dat ook nog erg leuk vond. In Jolanda vond ik een gezellig fotomaatje en samen zijn we veel op pad geweest. Daarnaast ben ik lid geworden van een fotoclub bij ons in het dorp. Op vakantie gaat mijn camera natuurlijk ook met veel plezier mee. Ik probeer daarbij steeds meer mezelf uit te dagen door niet de ‘standaard’ vakantiekiekjes te maken. En na de vakantie is het volop genieten van die foto’s en wordt er een mooi boek van gemaakt. Gaandeweg ben ik veel workshops gaan volgen. Tijdens de fotofair van 2022 ben ik met de FotoUnie in contact gekomen. En toen ben ik helemaal ‘los gegaan’. Met veel enthousiasme heb ik bij Ki en zijn team uiteenlopende workshops gevolgd. Bij de FotoUnie heb ik prachtige unieke foto’s kunnen maken die je thuis niet zomaar maakt. Ik kan nog steeds niet benoemen welk genre het leukste vind. Ik merk wel dat ik tijdens het fotograferen alle dagelijkse beslommeringen vergeet. Het geeft mij de nodige ontspanning. Mijn toekomst plannen zijn om meer ‘kunstwerken’ van mijn foto’s te gaan maken. Vorig jaar daarom een jaartracject bij Ki gevolgd. Daarmee heb ik op zoveel vlakken geleerd, zeker ook buiten de fotografie om. Ik zie bij mezelf nog veel groei mogelijkheden in fotografie en Photoshop. Daarom volg ik ook dit jaar weer een jaartraject bij de FotoUnie. ANGELIQUE JANSEN-MAIJEN 30-01-1968 I have been photographing since 2020. For my work, I created a new website. For this, it was useful to be able to take my own photos, so that a photographer did not have to be hired every time. I soon noticed that there was much more to photograph and that I really enjoyed doing it. In Jolanda, I found a pleasant photography buddy, and together we have gone on many outings. In addition, I became a member of a photography club in our village. When I go on holiday, my camera naturally comes along with great pleasure. I increasingly try to challenge myself by not taking the ‘standard’ holiday snapshots. After the holiday, it is pure enjoyment to look back at those photos, and a beautiful photo book is created. Over time, I started taking many workshops. During the Photo Fair in 2022, I came into contact with FotoUnie, and that’s when I really went all out. With great enthusiasm, I followed a wide variety of workshops with Ki and his team. At FotoUnie, I was able to create beautiful, unique photographs that you don’t easily make at home. I still can’t say which genre I like most. What I do notice is that while photographing, I forget all daily worries—it gives me the relaxation I need. My future plans are to create more ‘artworks’ from my photos. Last year, I therefore followed a year-long program with Ki. I learned so much in many areas, certainly also beyond photography. I see many opportunities for further growth in photography and Photoshop, which is why I am following another year-long program at FotoUnie this year as well.
